I was almost bursting. I just HAD to go on route to the sea. And finally.... this morning I set off and never felt better when passing the familiar, but ever changing, sites on my route ... Been in Barcelona last week and didn't feel the urge to take as many photos as I did today during my walk. Also, in Barcelona I felt more attracted to photographing the more 'meaningless' than the usual tourist attractions. The Sagrada Familia cathedral was very beautiful but..... the seagull hoovering over my head there whose wings were silver lined by the sun and its tips were almost transparent caught my heart and admiration much, much more ...
Today I noticed spring has hesitantly arrived in the form of so many new blooms and flower buds. The bottlebrush tree stood there radiating -exhilarationously - with his passion colored, terribly beautiful flowers [photo 1].
Following are photos of more flowers either in bloom or their bushes having buds [photos 2 - 8].
Photo 9 is of a flower blooming at Fairytaletree. He looks so slim now, so skinny without the leaves that he dropped :( But I noticed many new leaves and also many buds.... I think the buds can also be seen at this photo.
I met Ms.Cat while she was sleeping. I called her and she sat up but her eyes were dropping shut all the time :D LOL. Must have had a wild night, hahaha.... [photo 10]. We walked some around the pond together and I could have pulled the hair out of my head for being so stupid forgetting the cat-food at home which I specially bought for her :-(
Mr. Egret was standing there showing off his beautiful feathers. I read that they (Egrets) got hunted for those special feathers once in history.... So happy that this 'fashion' had passed. Poor things ending up on the hat of a lady :-(
I heard about it but was still surprised when I saw it at the Nemaal: the studio from which Channel 24 (Mizrahi songs) is transmitting for the next 24 days. [photo 11]. Not much to see about it though. I have it on now on my t.v. but still: I have no clue as to why they are doing this...
The sea himself (the reason for my walks) [photo 12], was rather wild.... But, the most beautiful thing on earth as usual...
And then... on my way back and towards Shuk HaCarmel I saw 'it'. I looked down from the promenade and thought I didn't see well. I never saw a large shell like this [photo 13] before. Not here, in Israel, nor anywhere else IRL. I stepped down and made some photos of it and, in the end, I took one of them (there were a few) with me - and it is sitting on a shelf here in my new home now ;)
Later on I saw the filming of a scene of a movie on the beach [photo 16] and something that made me laugh, it being a bike without a wheel but firmly locked :D [photo 17].
The last thing I photographed before entering Shuk HaCarmel (which always lifts my mood) is the window of a building that is meant as a meeting place for the jews originating from Aleppo. I walked around there a thousand times and never saw this building - just shows how I can discover new things even after thinking I know 'it all' ;-) [photo 18]
Edit: the shell turns out to be the back of a Dionon. (Cuttlefish).

nothing to report
happy and not so happy...
one BIG dream has come true.
but uncertain about the future.
I am getting way, much, much too old for this... :(
(got so many men chasing after me and finally finding out that the best thing they can do is to rent a hooker... )
I am not up for this. I am of a totally different 'making'. I also cannot let go of what I started and turned sour. I cannot accept. I simply CANNOT.

On my way to another 'beach'
Here (please click) is where I will be staying this week. The worries and pain of everything I went through these past 3 years are still clouding my heart too much to be able to be excited that I am going there, but I hope the momentum will conquer me and I will enjoy...
Hasta la vista ;-)

confession
I admit that I give in to what gives me pleasure before performing my commitments. This is all I will write now since the things I wrote for this blog posting previously got deleted due to a click on the wrong button.... :-(
(In what got accidentally deleted I explained about the Jaffa fishermen losing their income due to the pollution of the sea under the 'guidance' of the various municipalities who dump their waste waters -lady's sanitary towels, condoms, shit and the likes- into to the sea. MY (and YOUR) sea) Grrrrr :( )
AND(!) nobody is protesting! (except for those Jaffa fishermen).

Telepathy with a fish :p
After wrapping up at my mezah this morning I noticed a small fish in the puddle of water in the middle of the mezah. I held my empty paper coffee cup in my hand and decided to try to return him to the sea. And so.. I held the cup halfway under in the shallow water of the puddle and started talking to the fish (yeah, I'm crazy). And then the most miraculous thing happened and I think I am not going to tell anybody about it IRL because nobody will believe me anyway:
after several trials swimming towards the cup but ending up behind it or passing it underneath it - it swam directly into the paper cup! As if he knew what my intentions were. I still can't believe this happened.
Soon as I had him in the cup -in the same movement- I threw him into the sea...
Fishermen that saw me trying before I caught him in the cup laughed at me and joked. But they were left standing with their mouths open wide when they saw him swim into the cup.
Photos of
- A Mosherabbenu (lieveheersbeestje) - that came flying onto my arm 3(!!) times. Each time I blew him away - but he kept on coming back...
- Guppies (fish just out of the eggs) - I found it remarkable since the water was contaminated and there were practically no other fish around. I hope they'll survive...
- A Palestinian Sunbird hiding behind a Hibiscus...
- A snale I released back to where I found him after photographing him...
- A Wagtail Citreola I saw graciously hopping around in one of the gardens on the route...
- Fairytaletree (Kigelia) who was shedding his leaves while making great noise doing so (the falling leaves are very stiff and hard -but they smelled gorgeous- and that, together with the sudden wind rushes that happened while standing near him, is responsible for that noise).

Touched me...
The tunes of a single flute playing 'ne me quitte pas' out of the movie Les Parapluies de Cherbourg while rushing through early Friday morning errants near the Iriya brought me back feelings out of the past which accompanied me for a long time and I am still connected to though reality shows they have no right to exist - Reality is one thing, my feelings is another - they don't correlate...
